bengals 254The Marvin Lewis Community Fund’s program, Learning Is Cool, is an educational reward program that honors students for strong academic performance. Currently there are more than 29,500 eligible students, in grades 1 – 8, from Cincinnati Public, North College Hill and Middletown City schools along with students in grades 1 -12 from Covington Independent schools.

For every quarter the student earns “A” Honor Roll status we send them a reward along with a letter from Coach Lewis congratulating them on their accomplishment and to keep them encouraged and hopefully others around them! If they earn the “A” Honor Roll at least twice during the school year they are then invited to join the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Coach Lewis and the Bengals players for an evening at the Zoo for the Academic Achievement Celebration. On this evening they will have the opportunity to meet Coach Lewis, receive their medal of achievement from a Bengals player and have a family photo taken with that player. They also can enjoy everything the Zoo has to offer and the chance to meet other Bengals players in various venues located throughout the Zoo.
