Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden offers classes for homeowners & more

CINCINNATI (January 30, 2017) – The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden (aka Cincinnati Botanical Garden & Zoo in horticulture circles) is hosting two Zoo Garden events this month. From gardening classes to creating sustainable landscapes, there is something for every green thumb and garden enthusiast and green industry professional.

Homeowners can learn about landscaping from the Zoo’s director of horticulture and those interested in horticulture’s important role in sustainability won’t want to miss the 5th annual Sustainable Urban Landscapes Symposium.

 

Getting the Most Out of Your Home Landscape – series start February 15:

Go from zero to 60 with your gardening knowledge and skills directly from the Zoo’s top horticulturist, and be ready to create a thriving & beautiful garden this spring. Sign up for individual classes or for the entire series and save!

The fifth annual Sustainable Urban Landscapes Symposium is an upbeat, daylong event with expert speakers from around the country. This symposium will be a jam-packed program with expert speakers designed to take on the challenge and answer the questions of how we can design, build and maintain the most sustainable landscapes possible.
