CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden teamed up with the Cincinnati Bengal linebackers during the 2012 regular season to help tigers. For every tackle the linebackers made, $15, courtesy of JS Gold & Coin and Holman Motors, went directly to the Cincinnati Zoo ADOPT (Animals Depend on People Too) and the Zoo’s tiger conservation program.

New Home for Large Cats Opens Next Summer

The Cat Canyon expansion is set to start on September 6, following Labor Day Weekend, and be finished in early summer 2012. During construction, the area behind Night Hunters will close and the large cats that are currently there will be off exhibit until Cat Canyon reopens.
