CINCINNATI – (February 25, 2014) The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is excited to announce that it’s now a Kroger Community Rewards program recipient.  The program, which was created by Kroger to help support non-profit organizations in the Tri-state, allows customers to register their Kroger Plus Card and start earning money for organizations that impact their lives.

Chipotle Edible Gardens in the Botanical Garden

The three Chipotle Edible Gardens at the Zoo will feature an array of vegetables and herbs, all grown from seed. The gardens are de signed for visitors of all ages to learn about planting foods they can grow and enjoy at home.

Cincinnati Zoo Giraffe Expecting Again!

CINCINNATI, OH (March 11, 2014) – Tessa, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s six-year-old Maasai giraffe is pregnant again, and due in the next few weeks.   Tessa, and father “Kimba,” are both doing well and can currently be seen at the Zoo’s Giraffe Ridge exhibit. WHO:             On Valentine’s Day, love is in the air at the Cincinnati Zoo. Zoo keepers and staff have stepped in as cupid, to prepare large, heart shaped, paper-mache gift boxes, stuffed with delicious treats for the animals.  On Friday, keepers will deliver the gifts to the bonobos, orangutans, kea, and “Santos” the Zoo’s baby ocelot.

Cincinnati Zoo Welcomes Baby Bonobo – “Kibibi”
