Simulating a wild feeding increases the dogs’ mental and physical activity, provides nutritional benefits, and encourages natural sharing behavior unique to this species….

Love is in the Air on Valentine’s Day at the Cincinnati Zoo

WHO:             On Valentine’s Day, love is in the air at the Cincinnati Zoo. Zoo keepers and staff have stepped in as cupid, to prepare large, heart shaped, paper-mache gift boxes, stuffed with delicious treats for the animals.  On Friday, keepers will deliver the gifts to the bonobos, orangutans, kea, and “Santos” the Zoo’s baby ocelot.

                        Scheduled gift delivery begins at 10:30 a.m.
