| MANY, MANY MOONS AGO | Join us for an afternoon of traditional tales charismatically presented by local Native American storyteller, Fred Shaw. The entire family will enjoy stories of the animals that live around us such as opossums, turtles, and hawks and visits from several Zoo animals. Register Online |

These programs are for families with children 5 years and younger. Taught by Amanda O'Bannon of Miss Amanda's Music Garden, programs involve singing, dancing, and dramatic play that is sure to get the whole family movin' and groovin' and live animal demonstrations that tie into theme of the programs. (Up to two adults and siblings under 1 year or age accompanying participants are free.)

Join the Zoo's overnight program, Nocturnal Adventures, for special events designed for parents and children, ages 5 and up. Pitch your tent and camp out at the Zoo, sleep with manatees circling your feed, or sleep outside a tropical rainforest!
