Meet Academic Standards while your students have fun

The Education Department offers programs to students visiting the Zoo or we can travel to your school or event. All programs help fulfill academic standards. Bring your students to the Zoo, where you can travel beyond the boundaries of the classroom walls and experience wildlife and wild places like never before!

New! Schools can Register Online for Admission and Education Programs.

School Admission:

$5.00 per adult and student
One free teacher/ chaperone admission for every 10 students registered
Bus parking is free
$6.50 parking for private vehicles

School Education Programs, which help fulfill state-mandated requirements, include:

Programs at your location

We will also travel to your classroom or event and engage your group with up close live animal demonstrations and shows.

Frisch's Outreach travels to schools during the school year.
Wildlife Comes to You travels to other organizations and events, such as Scout events, festivals, or science fairs.
The Cat Ambassador Program and Bird Show will also travel to your location or come and see them in action at the Zoo.

Overnights available for schools, Scouts, families, and more. All overnight programs are designed for maximum fun and align with state academic standards. Learn More >
