Spend your Valentine’s Day at the sexiest Zoo in America! Love is in the air this year at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.

Where else can you experience close up animal encounters and enjoy a romantic meal with a complimentary champagne toast while cozied up with your special someone? It’s sure to warm up you and your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day!

Experience zoonique opportunities during the love-filled evening as valentines will learn about the Wild Side of Love. To what extreme did you go to get your mate… or are you still working on it? Either way, it is nothing compared to the courtship extremes found in the natural world. Join us for a sizzling night of insight into the lengths to which some species go to get some! Very sexy indeed!

There will be a cash bar available, but valentines can also add on a Wine & Dine option for only $18 to receive a flight of wines (red, white, and dessert) paired with dinner. Heat things up and ignite the passion for a wild night this year at the Cincinnati Zoo!

GALentine’s Day

Celebrate GALentine’s Day with your besties! Enjoy delicious food, fun activities, and animal encounters all while learning about the wild behaviors of community and courtship in animals. Not just for Gals, you can bring all your pals!

How well do YOU know your Cincinnati Zoo? The moniker of “second oldest Zoo in the nation” comes with a lot of history and some pretty epic tales! Step back in time with Zoo animal care and trainer veteran of 50 years, Gary Denzler, as he leads you on a fun and factual story-based historical tour of the Cincinnati Zoo, sharing tales of the people and animals that have made this Zoo what it is today. This program is geared toward participants 16 years and older.

Twiga Adult Overnights

Come join us for an experiential program that will transport you to Africa through unique opportunities only available for Twiga guests. You will start of the evening with drinks and hors d’oeuvres and then begin the tour which includes special encounters with some of our African Zoo animals. We also offer overnights for families & scouts.

Then, your adventure continues with a special, behind-the-scenes peeks, during which you will learn what it takes to keep our animals happy and fed. We’ll finish your experience by winding down around the bonfire before settling in for the night in one of four African safari tents on comfortable cot bunk beds. The morning begins with a continental breakfast, complete with a waffle bar, then you will wrap up this unique experience with a close encounter with our Giraffes. Participants must be 21 years or older.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring sleeping gear (sleeping bag and pillow), toiletries (no showers available), water bottle, cash if purchasing additional drinks, and comfortable clothes.

What is included with the ticket?

Appetizers, two drinks per person and cash bar
Many up close and personal animal encounters
Behind the scenes tour
Sleeping arrangements in our African Safari Tents
Tasty waffle bar in the morning
Admission to the Zoo after your program ends at 9am

Note: Participants must be 21 years of age or older. Our tents sleep up to 10 and there will be others outside of your group sleeping in the tent.

Wildlife Photography

Wildlife photography can be one of the most fun and rewarding hobbies around and who could be better to learn from than professional photographer and Zoo horticulturist, Brian Jorg. This class, geared towards beginner photographers, will blend technical expertise with knowledge of wildlife and the Zoo’s collection. You will learn how to get the most out of your camera and how understanding animal behavior will improve your photographs. Then, we will venture out into the Zoo to test your skills. Participants must provide their own cameras.

Garden Programs

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is home to over 3000 plant species and is internationally known for its success in the protection and propagation of endangered animals and plants. Learn from the experts at these one-of-a-kind #ZooGarden events!
