Spend the night at the wildest place in town!
Join the Zoo's overnight program, Nocturnal Adventures, for special evenings designed for parents and children, age 5 and up. During the program, you will hike the Zoo, go behind the scenes, experience live animal encounters, and engage in other exciting activities. Awake to peacock and gibbon calls, have breakfast, and then enjoy a special animal show.

- Family Overnight start at 6pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early.

How much are Family Nights?
- $30/ Member, $35/ Non-Member
Where do Family Nights take place?
- Camp Out participants will sleep outside near the Education Center, behind the Giraffe Ridge exhibit.
- Sleep with the Manatees participants sleep in the Manatees Springs building.
- Most other family overnights sleep in the Harold C. Schott Education Center.

| FAMILY SLEEP WITH THE MANATEES | Adults and children 5 years old and up are invited to spend the night with our three resident Florida manatees- Wooten and 1800-pound Betsy. During this overnight you will enjoy two sneak peaks behind the scenes, play games, and fall asleep with manatees swimming at your feet. | WILD WINTER NIGHTS | Have a wild time during these long winter nights and sleep over at the Zoo! Have you ever wondered where animals spend the winter months? Or where animals get their food when the ground is covered with snow? Your family will explore the physical and behavioral characteristics of winter animals as you discover the meaning of adaptation. Play games, tour buildings, meet some of our animal ambassadors, and even go behind the scenes. We hope you’ll den up at the Zoo for a Wild Winter Night! | FAMILY CAMP OUT | Families with children 5 years old and up are invited to pitch a tent behind the Giraffe Ridge exhibit. Then we will prowl the Zoo for night creatures, cats, and crawlies. This program focuses on behavior and physical adaptations of animals, es- pecially nocturnal animals. Bring your own tent and sleeping bag and camp out under the stars at the Zoo!
