Pick a Badge Scout Program

Pick-A-Badge scout programs provide scout troops with an in-Zoo adventure that meets all the needs of a scouting badge/ achievement.

These fun, interactive, scout programs help your troop or den complete all requirements necessary to earn a scouting badge or achievement. Each program includes an animal demonstration, Zoo hike, and other activities such as a game or craft.

Who can participate?

  • Brownie Girl Scouts: Coming January 1, 2012- Senses, WOW! Skill Building Badge
  • Junior Girl Scouts: Coming January 1, 2012- Animal Habitats, aMUSE Skill Building Badge
  • Bear Cub Scouts: Sharing Your World With Wildlife Achievement
  • Webelo Scouts: Naturalist Badge
  • American Heritage Girls (Tenderfoot and Explorers): Nature & Wildlife Badge
When are Pick-A-Badge Programs available?
  • Saturdays, year round: 9:30-noon or 1:00-3:30pm
  • Sundays, September- November and March- May: 1:00pm-3:30pm
How much are Pick-A-Badge Programs?
  • $13.00/ Scout
  • $9.00/ non-Zoo member adult (Zoo member adults are free)
  • A minimum of 10 paying participants is required
  • We accept cash, credit card, or a check
  • A $25 deposit is required to schedule a program. We cannot hold dates without a deposit beyond 2 weeks.
  • Final payment is due 1 month prior to the program
  • All program fees are non-refundable. To reschedule a Pick-A-Badge program there is a $20 rescheduling fee and you must contact us at least 30 days prior to the program. If you must cancel or change your Pick-A-Badge program please Click Here> or call 513-559-7767 option 6.
