America Recycles Day – November 15th, 2013

Explore the Zoo while learning how reducing, reusing and recycling helps creatures all over the world. Several activity stations will help students learn about natural resources, many of which support Tri-State science academic standards. Find out how animal “zoo doo” is turned into compost. Meet some of nature’s best recycling animals. There’s so much more  – come and celebrate being green!

Students are encouraged to participate in the Field Trip by packing a Waste Free Lunch!


When is America Recycles Day?

November 15th, 2013, 9:00 – 2:00 pm.

Who can participate?

This field trip is designed for grades 1 through 5, but all are welcome to participate.

How much is the event?
  • Free with Student Admission.  Hamilton County Schools,  see if you qualify for Free Admission and Register Here.
  • School Admission: $5.00 per adult and student; one free teacher/chaperon admission for every 10 students registered.
  • Bus parking is free; $8.00 parking for private vehicles.
