Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden®
Home of the world famous hippo Fiona. Family friendly Zoo committed to inspiring visitors with wildlife and saving species.
The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is committed to inquiry-based learning where students and visitors alike are encouraged to ask questions and investigate to find answers. Education Department staff members will walk educators through the QUEST model (Project Dragonfly) and facilitate life science inquiry investigations using live animals and plants as our subjects of observation. This workshop will give you the methods and tools to do this in your own classroom.
Date: Saturday, March 7, 2020
Cost: $15, includes admission to zoo, parking, lunch, and materials.
Note: Participants will park in the Vine Street parking lot at 3400 Vine Street.
This teachers event at the Zoo is a great way to find out more about Greater Cincinnati’s Environmental Education resources. The Ultimate Educators Expo will return September 2020.
