America Recycles Day

America Recycles Day - November 15th

Explore the Zoo while learning how reducing, reusing and recycling helps creatures all over the world. Several activity stations will help students learn about natural resources, many of which support Tri-State science academic standards. Find out how animal “zoo doo” is turned into compost. Meet some of nature's best recycling animals. Create colorful, recycled-content art and take your masterpiece back to school. There's so much more  - come and celebrate being green!

Students are encouraged to participate in the Field Trip by packing a Waste Free Lunch, and by bringing in #6 PS plastics such as clam shell containers and deli lids to contribute to the art project.
