Check Out Last Year's Event

2023 Zoo La La was a record breaking event! Thank you to everyone who came to support the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden's Education efforts, including the Living Classroom Education Access Fund. The fund provides reduced-price Zoo field trips and nocturnal adventures to qualifying schools in need. Our goal is to make it possible for every child in Greater Cincinnati to experience the Zoo.

2023 Zoo La La Recap
Zero Waste Event
A “zero waste event” is largely defined as at least 90% of the event waste will be diverted from the landfill. To make this happen, all single-use products provided will be made of compostable material and are BPI certified. As we are using an industrial composter, products such as plates, silverware, cups, and napkins will all be able to be composted.

All of our standard trash cans throughout the zoo will be converted into compost bins for Zoo La La, meaning you will only find compost and recycling available. All waste accumulated here can be composted, and all aluminum can be recycled.

If you have any accommodation requests, please contact  [email protected] 3 weeks prior to event.

Zoo La La is hosted by the Ambassador Council, a diverse group of leaders committed to supporting the Zoo’s mission.
