The Galapagos Tortoise exhibit was funded in part by the generous support of Thomas C. Theobold and the Theobold Family in memory of the late Dr. Jerome (Jerry) Theobold, the Zoo’s first staff veterinarian. This is the first walk-through reptile display for the Cincinnati Zoo. 		<description><![CDATA[CINCINNATI  (April 17, 2012) –The Cincinnati Zoo &#38; Botanical Garden is sponsoring an e-waste recycling drive to collect and recycle unwanted electronic waste from guests of the Cincinnati Zoo &#38; Botanical and the local community during the Zoo’s Party for the Planet Earth Day celebration on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  All electronics will be recycled by 2trg, a certified recycler that operates under zero landfill and zero export policies.  Data storage devices will be sanitized according to NIST SP 800-88 standards.
