Rare African Painted Dog Pups Born at the Cincinnati Zoo

CINCINNATI, OH (January 9, 2015) –“Imara (ee-MAH-rah),” the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s two-year-old African painted dog, has given birth to a wiggling pile of pups! Aging White Lion “Future” Euthanized

Cincinnati, Ohio (December, 2014) —Future, one of two male African white lions loaned permanently to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden by Siegfried and Roy in 1998, was euthanized yesterday due to age-related health issues.
