Cincinnati Zoo’s Biggest Annual Fundraiser Set to Take Flight

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden cordially invites you to save the date for the 32nd annual Zoofari: Flight of Fancy – which takes place Friday, September 19, 2014.  More than 2,500 professional, civic, and philanthropic leaders flock to the Zoo for the most unique gala setting in Cincinnati. The Zoo’s signature party with a purpose will take flight at 6:30 p.m. and come to a close at midnight. Whether you’re an early bird to the event or stay with the night owls – the evening will fly by.

Chaired by Carl & Dawn Satterwhite and Lauri & Scott Robertson, Flight of Fancy will provide important support for the Zoo’s initiatives which include the care of 500 animal and 3,000 plant species, ground-breaking conservation and reproduction work, and educational outreach programs that reach more than 330,000 students annually.

Guests are encouraged to wear feather inspired attire to the event, click here for feathered fashion ideas. The evening begins with a peacock-tail reception featuring light fare, opportunity to purchase Zooloons and GiRaffle chances, up-close animal encounters, and entertainment in Historic Vine Street Village. After migrating to the tent in Safari Camp, guests can feast on dinner-by-the-bite from 55 restaurants and participate in our zoonique silent hawktion Starting at 9 p.m., feathers will fly on the dance floor with live entertainment by Rumpestiltskin. Guests will soar to new heights as they shake their tail feathers at this aerial affair to remember.
