Portable party pack delivers fun alternative to Zoo gathering

CINCINNATI, OH (July 21, 2020)  Due to new gathering restrictions and safety alerts in Hamilton County, Wild About Wine, presented by Paycor, will take place in your home instead of at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden on July 30 and August 13. Don’t worry, you don’t have to host the other guests, just pick up your portable party and enjoy Wild About Wine – TO GO! in your own backyard!

“Our Toast to the Wild event series is wildly popular and also raises critically-needed funds for the Zoo,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard.  “We would prefer to host all events at the Zoo but are excited to offer this fun alternative for Wild About Wine. The safety of our guests, staff and animals is our top priority.”

Wild About Wine – TO GO! includes:

  • Two bottles of wine
  • Wild About Wine souvenir glass
  • Two Zoo tickets (valid through the end of the year)
  • More surprises from partner restaurants and the scientists at CREW!

Wild About Wine – TO GO! ticket holders will enjoy animals and a festive environment, including music from DJ Kay from Q102, at the Zoo’s drive-up party pack pickup area located in the Zoo’s main parking lot at 3400 Vine Street.  Pickup window is 6:00pm – 8:00pm on July 30 and August 13. We ID! Make sure you have ID’s ready when you pick up your party.

Funds generated from events are critical to the Zoo now more than ever. We hope that you will enjoy the alternative event that we have created! NOTE: July 27 is the last day to purchase tickets for the July 30 event.  August 10 is the cutoff for the August 13 event.
