WHAT:          Get ready to meet the adorable new faces at the Cincinnati Zoo during Zoo Babies.  With more than a dozen babies already born, and more on the way, this year’s Zoo Babies is sure to make you go “aww!”

Guests are invited to come see babies of all shapes and sizes.  This year’s highlights include one of the Zoo’s most recognized babyfaces – Gladys – a three-month-old Western Lowland Gorilla and its tallest Zoo Baby – “Lulu,” the Massai giraffe.  Lulu is six months old and stands at nine feet tall and weighs 500 pounds.  After a long winter she is ready to be outside exploring and experiencing the newly expanded Giraffe Ridge viewing deck.  Lulu can be found at Giraffe Ridge with her parents “Kimba” and “Tessa” and two new female giraffes.

Zoo Babies, presented by Coldwell Banker West Shell, will be celebrated the entire month of May!  The event is FREE with regular Zoo admission.  The Zoo opens daily at 9 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m.  For more information, call (513) 281-4700 or explore www.cincinnatizoo.org.
