Treat Your Family to HallZOOween at the Cincinnati Zoo & BOO-tanical Garden Posted October 3, 2019Every Saturday and Sunday in October CINCINNATI (October 3, 2019) – HallZOOween kicks off this weekend! Little ghouls and boys can trick-or-treat around the Cincinnati Zoo & BOO-tanical Garden weekends in October from Noon – 5 p.m. Costumes are encouraged but not required. In additional to collecting goodies from treat stations around the Zoo, kids will enjoy being magically sorted and adorning themselves with witch and wizard accessories at the new Transfiguration Station. Other activities include special animal encounters, rides on the Scare-ousel and Hogwarts Express Train and Phil Dalton’s Theater of Illusion shows at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the Wings of Wonder Theater. Guests will also enjoy the 4-D Experience in the Zoo’s Special FX 4-D Theater! (There is an additional cost for rides and theater.) The Cincinnati Zoo opens daily at 10 am. (9 a.m. for Zoo Members.) HallZOOween is FREE with Zoo Admission! Visitors are encouraged to bring their own bags to help the #GreenestZooinAmerica stay green! Palm Oil is used in many of the foods and products we consume every day, including candy. Selecting products made with Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) helps protect animal habitats (where palm oil is found). The Cincinnati Zoo has created a handy shopping guide to help consumers make orangutan-friendly choices. All treats distributed during HallZOOween are made with sustainably-produced palm oil.
