Corn Snake

Although the corn snake is primarily terrestrial, it can climb trees, rocks, and even buildings, with ease. Special scales form ridges on its underside to provide traction for traveling. The corn snake often takes shelter in hollow tree trunks or underground burrows during the day, and then emerges to hunt at night.
