Cincinnati Zoo’s Summer of Fun Continues with Things to Klimb and Things to Find
CINCINNATI, OH (July 1, 2024) – Summer Adventure at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, presented by Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Honda Dealers, continues with a new DORA Scavenger Hunt featuring world’s most beloved Latina explorer from the Nickelodeon franchise, Dora the Explorer. The DORA Scavenger Hunt is free and available in English and Spanish. Dornette Kanga’ Klimb aerial adventure course is another fun summer activity to try and reserved Klimb times are available now!
“We’re always trying to add new things for our visitors,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard. “The new DORA Scavenger Hunt is a great example. It’s easy to pick up at our Welcome Center, print it at home, or follow the clues on your phone.”
The fun and educational activity includes clues that lead to eight locations of rainforest animals throughout the Zoo. The DORA Scavenger Hunt is inspired by Dora’s fantastical adventures in the brand-new original series DORA, currently streaming exclusively on Paramount+.
If adventure is your thing, get ready to gear up and get out on the Zoo’s Kanga’ Klimb. This elevated course features a series of activities designed to safely test your balance and klimbing skills plus increase self-reliance. Starting today, members can klimb for just $10. This special offer runs through the end of July. Non-member tickets are $21 and reservations can be made in advance. Packages that include admission are also available.

The carousel and train are running throughout the day and are included in Gold, Platinum, and Donor memberships. Unlimited rides can also be purchased with general admission. The Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Members enjoy early entry starting at 9 a.m.
