CINCINNATI (December 23, 2022) – The weather outside is frightful, but shopping at home can be delightful. If you have stockings to fill or last-minute gifts to buy, here are some ideas that will thrill the recipient and benefit the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden:
- A Zoo Membership – Memberships are on sale through December 31 (Includes all virtual membership perks)
- Virtual Membership – Great for friends/family who can’t visit Cincinnati Zoo as often as they like. Includes live streaming video feed from Hippo Cove! ONLY $25 for a year.
- Landscaping For the Homeowner Series – 5-week gardening course taught by horticulture director, Steve Foltz. Virtual classes start February 8.
- Gifts for Fritz and Fiona fans (Zoo store items won’t arrive by 12/25, but images of your purchases can be printed and wrapped 😊 )
- ADOPT an animal – Symbolic adoption helps with the care and feeding of your favorite animal.
- Elephant or Okapi Art – proceeds go to conservation field projects
- Travel with the Zoo – Destinations for a Zoo-led trip scheduled for 2023 include Dublin and Tanzania.
- A Donation to Cincinnati Zoo – Make a gift in honor of an animal lover in your life.
Cincinnati Zoo is closed today, tomorrow, and Christmas Day. PNC Festival of Lights, which was just voted Best Zoo Lights by USA TODAY’s readers for the fifth year in a row, will reopen on Monday, December 26 (depending on weather conditions) and runs through January 8, 2023.
