Cincinnati Cyclones Become Cincinnati Hippos for Special Theme Night on March 4

Fiona bobblehead packages and a jersey auction benefit Cincinnati Zoo  

CINCINNATI, OH – February 7, 2023 – The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and Cincinnati Cyclones are hosting Hippos Night at Heritage Bank Center on Saturday, March 4. A Fiona Bobblehead Family Four-Pack includes: four tickets to Cincinnati Hippos Night, four Fiona Bobbleheads and four Skyline Chili Coney Vouchers. Five dollars from every ticket sold through this special link will be donated to the Zoo. 

“We are proud to partner with the Cincinnati Zoo on this night,” said Cyclones Director of Marketing & Public Relations, Sean Lynn. “We have found these alternate identities to be a huge hit and the ability to partner with an iconic establishment such as the zoo is a home run. We’re looking forward to bringing the Hippos brand to life.” 

 Players will wear special Cincinnati Hippos jerseys on Hippos Night, and these will be up for auction throughout the game via the Handbid app (Get Handbid for Apple | Handbid for Android). The auction will end ten minutes after the conclusion of the game. Net auction proceeds will benefit the Cincinnati Zoo. 

“It will be a fun night, and I look forward to dropping the puck,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard.  “I hope it brings the team good luck.” 

Come early to see Zoo animals in the concourse before the game!  Tickets must be purchased using this special link for the Zoo to receive donations.
