CINCINNATI, OH (July 6, 2015) –The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden (CZBG) is thrilled to share the recent national recognition it has received from various esteemed outlets including: Fodor’s Travel, Parents.com, and TripAdvisor. Each recognizes the Cincinnati Zoo for its award-winning exhibits, reputable family experience and every day amazing atmosphere. These distinctions are graciously received and the Zoo thanks all of those who contributed to its success.

TripAdvisor honored the Cincinnati Zoo with its fifth consecutive TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award for hospitality and consistently great traveler reviews. The Zoo was also inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame for excellence recognition from 2011 to 2015. This is the first year TripAdvisor awarded Hall of Fame certificates to select businesses around the world for continually delivering superior customer experience.

Fodor’s Travel named the Cincinnati Zoo one of the nation’s top 10 zoos, praising its long history of animal conservation research and daily animal encounters as captivating features. The publication recognized the Zoo’s Africa exhibit as an exciting and unique opportunity to come face-to-face with incredible species.

Parents.com showed the Zoo some love in its annual FamilyFun Travel Awards, honoring it as a top 10 animal attraction and fun family getaway. The Parents.com travel awards are based on a survey of 2,000 families across the country and provide travel suggestions for its readers. This honor comes as particularly exciting news for the Cincinnati Zoo due to its deep commitment to community and adventure for its visitors.
