Cincinnati Zoo’s First “Fiona Fun-K and Ice Cream Sunday” Event Set for Last Sundae in July

Sweet fundraiser offers a double dip of Fiona and Graeter’s ice cream

CINCINNATI, OH (June 17, 2020)   Get ready to party like a hippo princess during the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s first Fiona Fun-K and Ice Cream Sunday, presented by Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Honda Dealers.  The non-competitive walk, which will take place on Sunday, July 26 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, winds around the Zoo and includes samples of delicious Graeter’s ice cream along the route.

“This walk is all about having fun! Whether you make it a 1K, 3K or 5K, the point is to have fun, get some exercise, see animals, and eat ice cream. We hope to see lots of people wearing Fiona and hippo accessories,” said VP of marketing and communications Chad Yelton.

“Participants also get an awesome shirt featuring art designed by New York Times Best-Selling Illustrator Richard Cowdrey.”
Tickets are $25 for Zoo Members and $30 for non-members and include after-hours Zoo admission, parking, Fiona Fun-K shirt, Graeter’s ice cream, and a Graeter’s commemorative ice cream spoon for sampling Registered time slots are at 5:30 pm, 6 pm, 6:30 pm.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
