Easter is “Egg-citing” at the Cincinnati Zoo

Easter Celebration on Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

CINCINNATI (March 12, 2013) – Easter is “Egg-Citing” at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden! The Zoo’s annual Easter Celebration event takes place on Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Perfect for children young and old, Easter Celebration will feature treat stations, children’s activities, popular animal egg hunts and visits by the Easter Bunny.  Back by popular demand – “The Hunt for Golden Eggs.” Four Special golden eggs will be hidden around the Zoo for you to discover! Find one and turn it in at the Welcome center for one of four great prizes!

The animals will not be the only ones participating in Easter fun.  Children can also take part in a variety of craft activities, fill their baskets at treat stations throughout the Zoo, and even meet the Easter Bunny!

Visitors can also experience the Zoo’s Special FX 4-D Theater. Shows include: Ice Age and Life: Great Escapes. Wind, bubbles and scent are just a few of the 4-D FX effects that create this amazing experience. The shows begin daily at 10 a.m. and run every half hour until 5 p.m. Show admission is $5 for Non-Zoo Members and $4 for Zoo Members. Tickets are available online.

Easter Celebration is FREE with regular Zoo admission.
