Happy Zoo Year celebration includes an early, family-friendly countdown

CINCINNATI, OH (December 28, 2021) – Ring in the new year with some party animals at the Cincinnati Zoo’s 13th annual Happy Zoo Year celebration powered by Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Honda Dealers. On December 31, visitors can enjoy all that PNC Festival of Lights has to offer plus party favors and a kid-friendly early countdown at 8pm.

“Guests are encouraged to wear their glow gear and join us for a Glow Party in Vine Street Village,” said Cincinnati Zoo special event manager Kim Denzler. “We will also hand out glowing goodies so everyone can be festive on the glowing dance floor.”

Q102’s DJ Kay will play music starting at 5 p.m. and lead the early new year’s countdown at 8 p.m. Glow games, including Tic Tac Toe, Cornhole, and Hopscotch, will entertain the whole family and get the kids ready for a good night’s sleep!

The lights will shine bright until 9pm. PNC Festival of Lights, voted Best Zoo Lights in the country four years in a row, runs through January 9, 2022. For more information, visit cincinnatizoo.org.
