It’s peak bloom time at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.  Every spring, the Zoo’s amazing gardens explode with color when 100,000 tulips and more than one million daffodils, hyacinths, flowering trees, shrubs, and other spring bulbs bloom, and the best time to see them is right now!

“The botanical garden comes to life in April during Zoo Blooms, and peak bloom time is really spectacular,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard.  “We are hosting a FREE concert tonight, so this would be a great time to see the blooms and hear the tunes.”

The Tunes & Blooms concert series, sponsored by Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati, happens every Thursday night in April, from 5 – 8:30 p.m.  FREE admission starts at 5pm. Music starts at 6 p.m., so there’s plenty of time to explore the gardens if you arrive early.  The Cliftones and the Emily Parker Trio will rock the garden tonight.
