CINCINNATI (September 4, 2019) – The lucky winner of this year’s Zoofari raffle will see lions, meerkats, hippos, African painted dogs, elephants, rhino, vultures, kudu, impala, ostrich, giraffe and countless other animals on a classic Kenyan safari!  Raffle tickets are $100, and funds support the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.

“I’ve been on this trip and can tell you that it’s a life-changing experience,” said Cincinnati Zoo Director Thane Maynard. “In addition to seeing the wild cousins of animals you know from visiting the Zoo, you’ll learn about and meet the wonderful people of Eastern Kenya and immerse yourself in their culture.”

The trip for two, valued at $16,710, includes daily game drives, traditional sundowners in the bush, fabulous meals and superior accommodations.

The Kenya Raffle supports Zoofari, presented by Western & Southern Financial Group and Fort Washington Investment Advisors, an event that raises integral support for the Zoo’s initiatives, including the care and sustenance of more than 500 animal and 3,000 plant species, ground-breaking conservation efforts and educational outreach programs that reach more than 330,000 students annually.
