CINCINNATI, OH - The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s 2010 A Toast to the Wild event series wraps up Thursday October 7th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. with Zoo Brew to benefit CREW – “Saving Species with Science.” This is the fourth year for the beer tasting event, presented by Key Bank with beer provided by Sam Adams.
The Carl H. Lindner Jr. Family Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW) was the first of its kind, state-of-the-art research facility dedicated to saving endangered plants and animals from extinction.
This grown-up night out at the Zoo will feature several Sam Adams favorites, as well as their newest brews, Twisted Tea and Hard Core Cider. The event will be held outside, throughout the Safari Camp area of the Zoo, and will include some of your favorite indoor animal exhibits and the 4-D Theater. Brew-masters will be on site to discuss the “
science of beer” and light appetizers will be available from: Allyn's Cafe, Smokey Bones Fire Grill, Noodles and Co., City BBQ, and more. Tours of CREW will be offered and guests will have the opportunity to meet some favorite Zoo animals and enjoy live music by See Rock City, More Cowbell, and The Pickin’ Pig.
