You to the Zoo or Bring the Zoo to You!
Field Trips
Enhance your students’ learning with a field trip where the Zoo is your living classroom! Field trips to the Zoo are available year round every day of the week.
Thanks to our sponsors and the Living Classroom Education Access Fund, qualified schools can apply for financial assistance for educational school programs.

Overnight Adventures®
Ever wondered what the Zoo is like after the crowds have left? Now’s your chance to find out! Our Overnight Adventures offer schools and groups an exclusive opportunity to experience the Zoo after hours. Explore the Zoo on guided night hikes, take part in hands-on educational activities, go behind the scenes for a special look at our operations, and meet our animal ambassadors up close. It’s a perfect adventure for student and group outings, designed to inspire curiosity and create lasting memories.

Live from the Zoo (Virtual)
Live from the Zoo is a 30-minute virtual school program that highlights different Zoo Staff whose work helps us achieve our conservation mission. Each episode will focus on a different Zoo project or initiative and those who work directly with the animals, plants, and people involved. Through standards-based talking points and live Q&A with participants, your students will get to know why the Cincinnati Zoo is a leader in conservation and the career journeys of those involved. While all students, K-college, are welcome, this program is best suited for grades 6 and older.
More info coming later this year.

Wild Wednesday (Virtual)
Take a walk on the wild side with Wild Wednesdays at 1pm! Join us live on the Teacher Connections Facebook page or on Google Meets to learn about one of our resident animals from their caregiver. Each 15-minute program focuses on what makes these animals unique and allows time for Q&A with the live audience.
