Virtual Zoo on the Move

Participants
  • Each Virtual Zoo on the Move program is limited to 30 students. For groups with more than 30 students, you will need to apply for multiple programs.
  • Program topics are limited to specific days and times. See the Virtual Zoo on the Move page for details.
  • Participants can log in from their school or from home. Virtual Zoo on the Move is available for in-school and remote learning.
Confirmation
  • Submitting an application DOES NOT confirm your school has received financial aid.
  • If your school receives financial aid, we will send you a link to self-register your group. LCEAF schools are limited to one program per day, per grade band.
    • ie Zoo School has 4 1st grade classrooms with 22 students. They could register for 1 program at 10:30am on Monday September 14, Wednesday Sept 16, Friday Sept 18 and Monday Sept 21 or 1 program at 10:30am on Monday September 14, Wednesday Sept 16 and 1 program at 11:15 on Monday September 14, Wednesday Sept 16.

Field Trip

Lesson Plans
  • Lesson Plans for your Field Trip can be Zoo provided Self-Guided Activities, or a lesson plan activities created by the teacher.
Chaperones and Parking
  • If your school receives the Living Classroom Education Access Fund, all students will be FREE, and 1 chaperone per 7 students* will also be FREE!
  • Additional chaperones are only $7.00 each! School bus parking is free, but private vehicles are $10.00 per vehicle. *Some groups require additional aides to assist students with challenges.  These required aides are also free of charge.
Sold Out Dates
  • If your requested dates, times or programs are already fully booked, we will contact you for alternate options.
Confirmation
  • Submitting an application DOES NOT confirm your school has received financial aid.
  • If your school receives financial aid, we will register your group and you will receive an e-confirmation with your registration information and confirmation packet.
  • If you receive this aid, you are only approved for the number of students listed on your invoice. If you bring additional students the day of your trip, those students will be charged the $7.00 rate.
