VIP Ticket Includes:

  • Early admission, one-hour before the event
  • Exclusive access to indoor, air-conditioned areas (Peacock Pavilion & Safari Lodge) from 5:30pm through 8pm
  • Private parking and entrance from Safari Parking lot
  • Two additional drink-sampling tickets (14 total)
  • Complimentary food samples from local restaurants
  • Private animal encounters

  • You will receive your lanyard with 12 drink-sampling tickets upon presenting event ticket at entry.
  • This is an adult event; all guests must be at least 21 years old and present a valid photo ID. No babies or children permitted.  Bags will be subject to search.
  • Guests without valid photo ID will not be permitted to enter the event.
  • Programs will be emailed to ticket purchasers prior to the event and uploaded to this web page the day of the event.

Music from Q102 DJ’s and the Billy Rock Band will be playing throughout the night!

On August 8, hear Billy Rock Music play at the Zoo! Bill “BillyRock” McCarthy is in a unique category of singing drummers. The front man of The BillyRock Band has performed all over the world with a variety of symphony ensembles, opera singers, and Grammy Artists. His drumming has put him on stage supporting notable artists such as, Philip Myers, Jim Keller (Tommy Tutone), Los Lobos, Cee Lo Green, John Elephante (Kansas), Bobby Kimball (Toto), Alex Ligertwood (Santana), Kim Wilson (Fabulous Thunderbirds) and War, to name a few.

Proceeds from the “A Toast to the Wild” event series support the Zoo’s own Lindner Center for the Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW). Thank you for your interest in supporting “A Toast To The Wild – Tasting Series”. These events benefit the Lindner Center for the Conservation & Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW) at The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. CREW is internationally recognized for their signature research involving rhinos, small cats, exceptional plants and polar bears. The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is one of three Zoos in the United States to have a facility dedicated to conservation and research.

What does the VIP ticket include?

The VIP experience includes VIP only entrance to the Zoo starting at 5:30pm, an hour before the rest of the event, a private entrance and parking, and exclusive access to the indoor, air-conditioned areas.  Food samples will also be provided by local restaurants for you to enjoy, along with 2 additional drink samples for VIP guests.

Where do I park or get dropped off?

Please park in the Zoo’s main parking lot at 3400 Vine Street. You can find directions and additional parking details at: Directions and Parking Just look for the solar panels!

Our VIP guests will park in our Safari Parking Lot.  You will enter Gate 4 at 3498 Dury Ave and follow the road down to the main parking lot.  Safari Parking Lot is shown as the overflow parking lot closest to Forest Ave here: Directions and Parking

If you are entering the Zoo after 6:30pm, you will need to park in the Vine Street parking lot.

For taxi and driver drop-off, VIP guests should have their driver take them into the Zoo and down to Safari Parking Lot turnstiles (not on Dury Ave)!  For taxi or driver pickup, please direct vehicles to meet you at the Front Zoo Entrance (3325 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220)

What if I don't receive my ticket/confirmation email?

Your confirmation email will have an attached PDF which holds your ticket. Print out a copy of the attachment/ticket and bring it with you the evening of the event.  If you did not receive an email, check your SPAM folder as well as your Trash folder.   If those turn up blank, please either arrive a little early with your confirmation number or email our Visitor Experience Team at  [email protected].

With my Toast to the Wild ticket, am I able to come earlier in the day and enjoy the Zoo until the event starts?

Your Toast to the Wild ticket is good for admission beginning at 6:30pm on the scheduled event date.  Please visit the ticketing page on our website to learn more about planning your visit to the Zoo.

Is there food at the event?

You will find a wide variety of food options, available for purchase, throughout the event.

Will there be vegetarian food options?

Yes, we will have a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options available for purchase.

Will you have non-alcoholic beverages available?

Yes, there will be stations serving complimentary Pepsi products and water during the event.

Will the event be held if there is inclement weather?

Yes, the events are held rain or shine – please make sure you dress comfortably for the weather.

How much of my ticket purchase supports CREW?

$35 of each ticket goes directly to support CREW’s research both here and abroad.

Where can I learn more about supporting CREW?

The Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW) was the first of its kind, state-of-the-art research facility dedicated to saving endangered plants and animals from extinction. CREW is internationally recognized for their research with many projects including work with rhinos, small cats, endangered plants and polar bears. Can I bring my children to the event?

Toast to the Wild events are for adults only as they feature alcoholic beverages – you must be at least 21 years old to attend.

Will there be tickets available at the door?

Once we have reached capacity via pre-purchased ticket sales, we are unable to sell any additional tickets at the door. We highly recommend you pre-purchase your tickets.

What do I wear?

Please dress comfortably for a fun evening at the Zoo – remember the events are rain/shine and feature both indoor and outdoor habitats throughout the Zoo.

I am a Zoo member, can I purchase discounted tickets?

Yes!   We are excited to offer Zoo members a discounted rate this year!

Can I get a tax deduction for my ticket purchase?

$35 of each event ticket is tax deductible.  You can find this information on your receipt.
