Armadillo Lizard

The armadillo lizard’s back is covered in hard scales.  It defends itself from predators by curling up in a ball to protect its softer underbelly.  To keep a tight balled position, the lizard holds its tail in its mouth. It can also squeeze into tight spaces between rocks.
