This nocturnal, arboreal gecko gets its common name from the bumps on its head that resembles horns.  It also has a thin, prehensile tail which helps it to grasp onto branches and tree limbs.

Did you Know?

It can regrow its tail if it loses it—but unlike some other geckos, its new tail usually looks quite different, often shorter and bumpier. This tail regeneration helps them escape predators, making them masters of survival in their native New Caledonia forests.
