The Henkel’s Leaf-Tailed Gecko have sticky feet that help them live in trees. They also have a broad and flat tail that looks like a leaf. They come down from the trees to lay their eggs in leaf litter.
Did You Know?
Like most lizard species, geckos can shed their tails when attacked. A re-grown tail, supported by cartilage, not bone, is often shorter and patterned differently from the original.
