New Virtual Membership Option Brings Live Stream of Fiona to Fans Worldwide!
CINCINNATI (June 6, 2022) – Fiona fans all over the world can now visit the world-famous hippo and her bloat every day via live stream from Hippo Cove! Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s new Virtual Membership package includes access to a members-only site that includes the live hippo feed, exclusive videos, discounts in the Zoo’s online store, and insider news.
“A virtual membership is only $25 a year! The savings from the online shop discount that’s included with the membership would cover that amount after a few purchases,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard. “And being able to see what’s happening at Hippo Cove every day is priceless.”
Fiona’s mom Bibi is expecting and due later this summer, so virtual visitors may be among the first to see the baby! It will certainly be fun to see the interaction between Fiona and her new sibling.
Current Zoo members will also be able to access the hippo cams, which are live from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. EDT daily, and take advantage of the other Virtual Member Center perks. A valid member ID number is all you need.
