Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden offers landscaping classes

CINCINNATI, OH (December 7, 2017) – Beat winter’s chill by preparing for your spring garden! Back by popular demand is the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s 2018 Landscaping for the Homeowner Series, beginning February 7.

Join Steve Foltz, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s Director of Horticulture, for one of the most informative and complete landscape series for homeowners in the region. If you are planning on renovating your garden or putting a new installation in your landscape, these classes provide great insight on design, preparation and plant selection with emphasis on plants that do best in the Tri-state area. Take time now to gain knowledge about soil preparation, maintenance and plant selection, and you’ll be ready to hit the ground running in spring creating a thriving & beautiful garden.

All classes meet Wednesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. Cost for the complete series is $45 for Zoo members and $70 for non-members. Individual classes are $10 for Zoo members and $15 for non-members.
