Zoo Babies Kicks off at the Cincinnati Zoo!

CINCINNATI (April 30, 2014) – Get ready to meet the adorable new faces at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden when it kicks off the 29th annual Zoo Babies, presented by Coldwell Banker West Shell on Thursday, May 1. With numerous babies already born, and more on the way, this year’s Zoo Babies are sure to make you go “aww!”

camel_babyFrom the world’s tallest baby, the Zoo’s Massai giraffe, born on Monday, April 28, to “Kibibi” and “Belle” the baby bonobos, “Jack” the Bactrian camel, and “Lin” the red panda, there are babies of all shapes and sizes. The Zoo is also still expecting a few more adorable additions! Six-foot-tall pink and blue storks statues are displayed throughout the Zoo and lead visitors to all the cute baby faces.

Visitors can also enjoy two days of fun family entertainment during Zoo Babies, presented by Ameritas.  Join Barney™ in a “Super-Dee-Duper Sing-Along” on Saturday, May 3. Come see Barney dance and sing some of his most popular songs at the Wings of Wonder Theater at times of 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Then, on Saturday, May 10, families are invited to see “Avengers Assemble.” This exciting show will feature Spider-Man, Thor, Hulk, Iron Man and Green Goblin and will take place at the Wings of Wonder Theater at the times of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Zoo Babies, presented by Coldwell Banker West Shell, will be celebrated the entire month of May!  The event is FREE with regular Zoo admission.
