After Glow Event Offers Adults One More Chance to Enjoy PNC Festival of Lights
New “After Glow” event extends the holiday magic for 18+ visitors
CINCINNATI (January 6, 2026) – The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden invites you to enjoy the glow of its spectacular lights display post-holiday! On Friday, January 9, 2026, the Zoo will be turning the lights on for one last adults-only evening. After Glow is an 18+ event that offers guests a rare opportunity to experience PNC Festival of Lights, the #1 Zoo Lights in the nation, in a relaxed, child-free atmosphere.
“After Glow gives guests that may have already attended PNC Festival of Lights with family an opportunity to slow down a little and see it a different way,” said Sydney Boudreaux, Cincinnati Zoo Events Manager. “It’s also a very affordable date night, especially with the student discount.”
Explore the illuminated pathways in a relaxed, child-free environment, visit select animal habitats open for the evening, and feast on specialty drinks and snacks available for purchase.
“We’re also providing unlimited train and carousel rides all night,” said Boudreaux. “Rides are not just for kids! This is your chance to re-experience the thrill of the train and grab a ride on your favorite carousel animal (without anyone fighting about who gets the hippo).”
