Bolt Like Bolt at the Cincinnati Zoo’s Cheetah Run 5K – Pre-registration closes August 21. Race is August 28.
CINCINNATI, OH (August 17, 2016) – Whether you’re trying to break a world speed record or just want to walk for a purpose, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s Cheetah Run 5K is the place to be on Sunday, August 28th. Runners and walkers will follow a course that winds in and around the Zoo gardens, providing scenery unlike any other race venue in town.
“You don’t have to be the world’s fastest man or sprint like a cheetah to enjoy the Cheetah Run,” said Zoo Director Thane Maynard. “I’ve run the race more times than I can remember, including twice on the morning of my daughters’ weddings! It’s the best family-friendly 5K anywhere. It’s hilly, sure, but your family can come along and cheer you on!”
