New “After Glow” event extends the holiday magic for 18+ visitors

CINCINNATI (December 20, 2024) – The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden invites you to enjoy the glow of its spectacular lights display post-holiday! On Friday, January 10, 2025, the Zoo will be turning the lights on for one last adults-only (18+) evening. After Glow is an exclusive 18+ event that offers guests a rare opportunity to experience PNC Festival of Lights, the #1 Zoo Lights in the nation, in a relaxed, child-free atmosphere.

“After Glow gives guests that may have already attended PNC Festival of Lights with family an opportunity to slow down a little and see it a different way,” said Sydney Boudreaux, Cincinnati Zoo Events Manager. “It’s also a very affordable date night, especially with the student discount.”
Capture unforgettable moments along the dazzling illuminated pathways and at interactive photo-op stations placed throughout the Zoo, stop in to warm up and see animals in some of the indoor habitats, and feast on specialty drinks and snacks available for purchase.

“We’re also providing unlimited train and carousel rides all night,” said Boudreaux.  “Rides are not just for kids!  This is your chance to re-experience the thrill of the choo choo and grab a ride on your favorite animal (without anyone fighting about who gets the hippo).”

Great news for members – After Glow is included with your Cincinnati Zoo membership! All membership levels are on sale through December 31! Tickets are $20 for non-members, and $10 for students.
