CINCINNATI, OH (April 16, 2020) – If you’ve been thinking about sending a Cameo video with a personalized shout out from world-famous hippo Fiona, cheetah and dog pair Kris and Remus, or Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s director Thane Maynard, now is the time to do it! Cameo Cares, a three-day event to benefit those affected by the COVID crisis, starts today. Cameo is donating their portion of proceeds from all Cameo videos booked April 16-18, including ones from your favorite Zoo celebrities, to No Kid Hungry, Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, MusiCares, and The Actors Fund.

Cameo will feature some of its top celebrities, including Fiona, during the Cameo Cares virtual fundraiser. “I’m so excited to participate in this special programming,” said Fiona’s primary keeper Jenna Wingate, who also costars in the Cameo Cares special and in her Cameo videos. “Recording Cameo videos from Fiona to her fans has been so much fun, and the funds raised are really helping us operate while we’re closed.  I hope seeing her in action tomorrow will create more demand for a personalized message from her.”
