Jack O’Lantern Glow is Back at the Cincinnati Zoo & Boo-tanical Garden
Get pumped to see 6,000 illuminated pumpkins at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden starting this Friday, October 3. Jack O’Lantern Glow, presented by Medpace, is the largest illuminated pumpkin show in the tri-state area and offers visitors an immersive walkthrough among thousands of hand-carved pumpkins and fall displays.
“We’ve added more pumpkins this year and changed the event footprint. The pumpkins –all hand carved and decorated by talented local artists – are just so impressive,” said Cincinnati Zoo events manager, Sydney Boudreaux. “New themed sections include Star Wars, Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Pumpkin Princess & Prince, and more!”
Visitors will also enjoy a spook-tacular scavenger hunt, fall themed food and drink options, and the opportunity to explore two of the Zoo’s most popular indoor habitats – the Reptile House and Night Hunters (until 9pm).
Jack O’ Lantern Glow runs nightly, excluding Mondays, October 3 – 30th. Pricing is dynamic, so weekdays and later time slots are less expensive. Cincinnati zoo members receive a deep discount on tickets. A new GO GLOW Pass is available for those who want to skip the general entry line and get straight to the fun. Non-date-specific tickets are also available this year. Children under 3 are free.
