New Sculpture Ready to Greet Visitors When Elephant Trek Opens

Posted September 6, 2024

A bronze sculpture of two young elephants, created by well-known artist Tom Tsuchiya’s protege Olivia Faillace (both in photo on the statue), was installed yesterday at the entry of the Harry and Linda Fath Elephant Trek.  The intertwined, playful elephants will greet visitors and will certainly be the center of photo opps for years to come.  The surrounding waterfalls and lush Asian garden complete the scene and make the entry an area that visitors will not want to rush through, even if there is a herd of elephants just down the path :).

Elephant Trek, Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s newest and biggest habitat, is just weeks away from opening to the public.  Date to be announced soon!
