New York Times Bestselling Illustrator to Sign Fiona Christmas Book at Cincinnati Zoo Tomorrow
Book signing in Zoo Shop Thursday, December 12 from 5-7 p.m.
CINCINNATI (December 11, 2019) – Children of all ages are invited to come to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden on December 12 when New York Times bestselling illustrator and Cincinnati native Richard Cowdrey will be here to sign A Very Fiona Christmas, the second book in a series about Fiona the world-famous hippo.
“Richard is passionate about Fiona and has been spreading the love at schools, bookstores and other U.S. Zoos,” said Sara Merritt, Senior Director of Marketing for Zonderkidz, the children’s division of Zondervan. “He’s so excited to be back in Cincinnati to connect with Fiona fans and share the whimsical illustrations and uplifting Christmas story that captures her personality and charm.”
In the book, Fiona experiences her first Christmas and when she asks her friends, “What’s Christmas?” they set out to show her all the wonders and excitement of the season. With each new experience, Fiona lets out a snort, wiggles her ears, and asks, “Is THIS Christmas?”
Cowdrey will be signing books in the Zoo’s main gift shop from 5pm to 7pm. Zoo Admission is not required to attend the signing. Visitors wishing to stay for PNC Festival of Lights can purchase tickets in advance (most economical option) or at the Zoo.
A Very Fiona Christmas is available in the Zoo’s gift shops and online store and at your favorite book retailers.
