PNC Festival of Lights Shines Bright – Even in 2020

Posted November 24, 2020 by Angela Hatke

During a year when everything seems different, Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is making sure that Cincinnatians can count on at least one tradition.

The 38th annual PNC Festival of Lights, with more than 4 million LED lights, is still shining bright! Bring your family and friends to this holiday tradition for some socially-distanced FUN!

We’re taking extra measures to make sure you feel safe this year:

New This Year

Santa’s Village

Santa will be available for socially-distanced visits starting at 4 p.m. through December 23. Head down to the picnic shelters near The Grove and be transported to the brand-new outdoor Santa’s Village! There you will be able to get a socially-distanced photo with Santa and his sleigh, say hi to Mrs. Claus, drop off your letter to Santa in the North Pole mailbox and find the mouse in each Gingerbread House.

New Displays

Make new memories this winter!

Meet & Greet Characters

Meet one of the Royal Sisters in Frozen Wonderland or a costumed character like Frosty at a safe distance!

North Polar Express & Conservation Carousel

For the first time this year, the Conservation Carousel is open! Plus, don’t miss new LED lights on the North Polar Express train!

Familiar Favorites

In order to offer a safe experience for all, guests will be required to wear masks at the Zoo during the 38th PNC Festival of Lights. PNC Festival of Lights is Nov. 21, 2020 – Jan. 3, 2021 with bonus nights on January 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17. Our hours during this event are 1pm-9pm and reservations are still required.
