“This is the first summer that our big Elephant Trek habitat will be open,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard.  “In addition to the eight elephants in the herd, Elephant Trek is home to Siamang gibbons, Asian small-clawed otters, and rhinoceros hornbills.”   Check the animal encounters schedule before you visit, so you can be sure to catch amazing behavior demonstrations and other activities happening around the Zoo.

The carousel and train are running throughout the day and are included in Gold, Platinum, and Donor memberships. Unlimited rides can also be purchased with general admission.

Zoo Babies, presented by General Electric Credit Union, continues through the end of May.  Make your visit even more memorable by participating in the Zoo Babies Expedition scavenger hunt. This fun activity for kids and adults alike invites you to find special signs at four different Zoo Babies exhibits, discover the secret word, and be entered to win prizes.

Download the new mobile app featuring a GPS-enabled digital map to find the babies and other favorite animals, plants, and food locations.  Turn on notifications to get updates on animal chats and special offers.

The Zoo opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. daily.  Members get Early Entry and are welcome to enter the Zoo at 9 a.m.

*The FREE admission for military offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six (6) discounted admission tickets for members of their immediate family. Military personnel who qualify for the free admission ticket and discount offer for family members include active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with an honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps with government-issued ID.  Simply present your credentials at the turnstiles on select holidays.  Guests with discounted tickets must enter with military personnel eligible for free entry.
