Take Advantage of Winter Discount Days Now Through February 28 at the Cincinnati Zoo
CINCINNATI (January 9, 2025) – The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is excited to announce the launch of its Winter Discount Days event, running now through February 28, 2025. This special event, sponsored by U.S. Bank, offers deeply discounted tickets, as low as $6 for children and $9 for adults on select days when you buy online, providing an excellent opportunity for families and individuals to enjoy the zoo during the winter months.
“There’s still a lot to see and do at the Zoo on cold days, and the discounted admission makes a winter visit even more attractive,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard. “Animals that enjoy colder temperatures, like the red pandas, will be outside, and indoor habitats give visitors a chance to warm up and spend time learning about manatees, birds, nocturnal animals, insects, reptiles, and more!”
Animal encounters and chats will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays and will feature winter-hearty animals. Meet-a-Creature experiences will also be offered on the weekends.
“We won’t have penguin parades this year due to changes in the colony, but penguins will still be featured in chats. You can always visit them in the Birds of the World building,” said Maynard. “On warmer days, you can visit African and little blue penguins in their outdoor habitats.”
